My Typical Resupply Box

Here's a list of the food items within one resupply box intended for about 5 days of hiking:

Breakfast

-          1qt ziplock mostly full w/ oats
-          1qt ziplock 2/3 full dried fruit
-          1 packet carnation instant milk – 5ish servings
-          ½ jar of Skippy PB
-          1 full snack size bag of Nesquick powder
-          1 full snack size bag of Protein powder

Lunch/Snacks

-          2/3 quart bag of nuts
-          ½ of a 1qt ziplock bag of granola
-          ½ of a 1qt ziplock of M&Ms
-          3 pop tart packages
-          3 Beef sticks
-          2 mayo packets per day
-          1 full snack size bag Gatorade

Dinner

-          1- 5 serving bag refried bean mix (ADD CHIA SEEDS)
-          1 -5 serving bag hummus mix(ADD CHIA SEEDS)
-          1 - 3 serving bag ramen mix
-          1 Idaho potato bag

Yeah, I'm eating 2 mayo packets per day. As far as calories by weight goes, mayo is just about as good as it gets. Each 11g packet is 100 calories. I'm going to be burning 4,000-5,000 calories per day and it's quite difficult to get those all through healthy foods. Other than that everything else is pretty basic hiking food. The only thing that will change from one resupply box to another are my entrees which will rotate.
